Show your Mother's Day Pride!

In honor of Mother's Day, I'd like to invite all the Mom's in the SR Family a chance to share why they celebrate Mother's Day and Everyday!

I started this thread on another forum and I think it got kinda lost in the shuffle. Whether you have pictures to share or not, please take this moment to share something about your kids. It helps all of us to get to know one another better and gives those a chance to jump in and share if they haven't yet. Photobucket is very easy to upload pictures on and post here. If I can do it, anyone can.

This is my son, Brandon. Even though he's 19 years old, he will always be my Pride and Joy!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY FROM ONE MOTHER TO ANOTHER,
God Bless,
Judy

If you don't have any pictures to share of your kids, tell us their names, ages and a little something about them. It's not too often where we get to share in some detail about our kids on here.

Well, I have hated Mother's Day since mine died 18 years ago. Just envious of those who still have theirs, and who are also mother's themselves.

However, I am a mom to a wonderful dog. She is my lifeline, and my inspiration. She enjoys the simplest things. Like attacking the sprinkler, chasing squirrels, running through the woods laughing, and chewing a bone. If life can be that simple.....

But, she makes me happy when I see her playing and laughing. She grounds me.

Well, I tried to put in her picture, and I guess I am inept at that, too!

I'm not a mother myself. Only with the 4 legged ones. Just wanted to wish all the Mother's on here a Happy Mother's Day.

Today, I'm a happy and very grateful mom whose kids are all adults. I have one daughter, two sons and one 'unofficially' adopted son. In a couple of weeks I will officially have a new daughter in law.

So...no bells or whistles are needed for me to celebrate this day, because I am content and grateful that they are alive and well, and remain close.

And...I must add that I am grateful for mr cmc who appreciates my efforts as a mom and without whom I wouldn't have had my kids in the first place.

I have a college age dau. and a high school son. So mine are almost out of the nest! They gave me a lovely day with gifts and we had a family luncheon.
