I drink about 3/4 bottle wiskey every evening, never drink during the day only from 5pm ish till I fall asleep.
Stayed sober for 5 years but since my wife died 3 years ago hit it again.
Gonna try to clean out the drinks cabinet tonight and start clean tomorrow.
Just got re-married and don`t want to spoil my life even though my tee-total wife understands.:codiepolice

Welcome to SR creative - great name.
That's an awful lot of drink to just suddenly cut out - you spoke to your doc about it?
Stay safe, wishing you all the best in your recovery!!!

Creative,
I lost my husband a few years back and I too relapsed. (I actually relapsed while he was dying of brain cancer) I had 8 yrs clean. So I do know what you are talking about. I too have re-married and had to get clean again. My husband is very understanding and a sweetheart which makes getting clean even more important to me. Today I have 110 days clean.
You can do this! Sheila
