Question New here. My story.

Hey all. I've been posting on the family/friends of substance Abusers but have recently come to the conclusion that I too am an addict. I have been on Percocet's for about 6 months now. I had a severe knee injury and through the surgery and everything the doc's put me on them. I have recently found out I am pregnant with #4 and so worried that I'm going to hurt my baby. So I am now in day #2 without pills. I'm having a tough time and just looking to see if anyone has any suggestions to help occupy my mind so I can get through these lovely withdraws Just need to hear that someone else has gone through this and it can be done. Thanks in advance!
Julie

it will not be easy julie but you are doing the best for your child.....and you. i was addicted to ultram....it's an nsaid. i quit cold turkey and had terrible withdrawals for about a week.

i read later that i was an idiot and was supposed to wean myself off of them. see your dr. and get a plan of action from him. most of us men are idiots. we don't go to doctors, we don't stop and ask directions and we do things without researching them.

you can do it.

david.

Talking to your doctor would be wise. I wish you the best during these anxious times. :ghug3
