Taking the van

Seems everyone's advice is to simply take the van and sell it, heard it again at a meeting tonight. As I explained to the person at the meeting , am not going to be around for almost three weeks, isn't like I can do it tomorrow and would like to be as fair as possible. I was also hoping stepping back from all this would give me a somewhat better perspective.

My thoughts were, let her make the May payment, give her time to arrange alternate transport, and it wouldn't be like she was getting off for free, she would have made the payment-hopefully-by then. Any thoughts? I refuse to feel guilty about this, I do have to protect myself.

I do have to protect myself.
If your name is on anything to do with that van be it the title and/or the insurance, you are taking a BIG FINANCIAL risk by letting her continue to use it.

My suggestion is lock it up while you are gone for the 3 weeks or so, and then put it up for sale upon your return.

Another consequence of her behaviors and actions.

Love and hugs,

There is no way I would give the keys to anyone with drinking problems.
Just my 2 cents
