Smile 4 long months have come & gone

Thank god for Intervention. It saved my husbands life. This whole process has been so amazing and My husband will be returning in 2 weeks after more than 4 long months away from me and my daughter. It has been the greatest experience and after almost walking out and tearfully saying goodbye, I now have a chance to rebuild a life with someone I have always loved but the thick cloud of alcoholism had haunted our every move. Its been a long time coming and I am nervous and excited and proud.. For the first time in 9 years of being with my husband I am PROUD!!! The horrible shame that I carried for so long. Now we have a chance to build a healthy life together and I know it is going to be challenging for sure. Knowing now that he has learned some incredible tools to carry himself is a blessing.. And hes happy and he has his passion back. I will be gazing into the eyes of a reborn human being.. I thank god for these wonderful blessings. For my husband and myself to get the help we need and for us both to raise our young daughter together as Mommy & Daddy, Husband & wife and BEST FRIENDS.
Sorry that was a long one.. had to pour it out! thanks for listening

One for our team...YEA !!!!
This is awesome news. How great that he decided his life as he knew it, was worth
the effort to live it sober. He is lucky the you stuck it out.
May you have many more yrs. together in recovery.
