OT - Dakota (it's scan time again)
It's that time again (tomorrow 7:30 am) .. time for Dakota's scans ... a time where every fiber of my being screams NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I hate scan time .. I hate that she has to go through them .. because she gets so upset when they put the gas mask over her little face and she fights with all her might to stop it from happening... I am sick to my stomach before and afterwards until I hear the scans came back all clear.
So please, if you will .. say a prayer for my baby girl for all clear scans and that she continues to remain cancer-free.

Thank you for being the God of all Grace who pours your grace into our hearts as we seek to meet the needs of those around us. Give us your grace.
Thank you for being the only Wise God. We need devine wisdom to juggle the many things in our lives right now. Help us to trust You as our strong and faithful God in our homes and relationships and with our children's health and well-being.
Thank you for being the God of Hope so as we look at today and the days ahead. In the changes and challenges that come, let us find shelter, encompassed by You, The God of Love, The Living God and the Only True God.
Thank you for the love and compassion of the Son and the strength and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Please bless Sherry and her sweet baby. Help them to feel your strength and faithfulness in a powerful way!!

(HP, please comfort Dakota tomorrow - please give her the calmness that comes from your soft voice - please help her not to be scared by the mask - help her to remember that everything went ok the last time and it will this time too.
Please give the Drs, Techs, nurses and other staff - gentle hands, compassionate voices and caring eyes as they take care of her tomorrow - so that she will feel safe and secure.
Most of all, please be with Dakota's wonderful Mom - as she feels every ache, tear and fear that Dakota goes thru - comfort her with Your unending peace - reassure her that You are taking care of this situation and will be with her thru out; that she can lean on your shoulder for strength & courage. Amen)

You and your sweet angel are in my prayers... Perhaps it will be easier as she is learning what to expect and she knows she ALWAYS wakes up and her mommy is right there.

You and your family are always in my prayers, Nyte, but I'm sending an extra one that God brings comfort to this precious child and her fears subside. I know the scans will be fine...Prayers for a peaceful night and day for you too, dear mom.

Praying for God to put angels around that precious baby. Keep her calm and let her outcome be a positive one. Take care of her mom that she can find peace that all will be well. Let the doctors and staff that will be taking care of her give her the security and kindness and comfort that she needs.
