he's been there no matter what - think he prefers the sober me too as he gets out for walks more.

I don't know how to post pictures, so I'll just give you the list: 4 horses - my barrell racer, two draft horses named Hank and Charlie (after Hank Williams Jr. & Charlie Daniels) and a miniature pony, 3 cows (my sons are raising them for 4-h so they are truly pets), a miniature donkey, six chickens, two dogs and a cat. And until last week, the meanest goat in the history of the world! (He went to the livestock auction and is now terrorizing some other farmer! LOL)
Someday I'll figure out this picture thing....I love all these dogs and cats. SO CUTE!

I don't know how to post pix either but maybe my technosmart daughter can show me! I have two dogs, Nikko and Riley; five cats, Freckles, Rosie, Max, King Tut-uncommon, Gracie; two parakeets, Buster and Keaton; and a disabled senior citizen bunny named Bunners.
My dogs have stuck by me, as dogs do, thru my drinking and irresponsibility. They keep me warm and safe at nite and company during the day.

Pets are the best.
Fortunately these three came along after I stopped drinking. Their predecessor Kimmy, who lived to be 17, stuck by me when no one else did. What would we do without our pets?

I have 2 dogs, Nia and Bodhi. Bodhi saw me sober for years, then drunk, and now sober. She perked up and got less depressed when I got sober again.
Nia had only seen me drunk and she was quite confused when I got sober. She was like "where are my toys mom!" As a drunk I had a very messy house, lots of trash, and she tore up pillows and sheets on a regular basis. She has ajusted!
I told them at treatment that they should have puppy-anon. Nia really needed it!

This is my bunch
I now have 6 cats( 2 males and the rest females ...Spitfire, Impy, Sylvester and Things 1,2 and 3!)
And of course as most may know I have my beautiful daughter Baby Girl......She is my life, the reason I go on I swear she is.......she gave me a reason for living again........
She is the best reason I have for staying sober....and like ya said RK she likes me better sober!!!!
She was so in awe of the kittens, we have had a rough go of it here Spitz is so young that she wasnt feeding but she was trying to figure out what to do so to speak and it was baby that was making her lay there so the babies could feed she was sitting there giving Spitz a bath almost while the babies were nursing it was an AWESOME sight!!! Then after words all 7 of my babies would lay down and go to sleep.......not it is funny cuse if one baby crawls of rolls off of the heap of sleeping kittens she uses her nose to "flip them back on the pile it is hilarious she tries so hard to be gentle but she will literally flip em head over arse! (Cont)

Holy post it notes PAM!! LOL..I thought I was the only one with post its all over the place.
No pets. Last one was my boogy butt dog Ashley that the neighbor poisoned with meatballs set in bear traps.
I am ready for a new puppy tho.
Here is a pic of my Ashley girl....I miss her so much. She's been gone prolly 8 or 9 yrs now.
