Any good books ?

I'm looking to read, can't even remember the last time I read something other than a kids book lol.
I'm looking for good books to read that have something to do with what's going on in my life like maybe codependency issues.
Also any recommendations on books with quotes, not sure what to call it but I love reading the little quotes at the end of magazines like Home and gardens if you know what I mean.
Thanks

"Codependent No More" "Beyond Codependency" "Language of Letting Go" are all good books and all by Melody Beattie. Hugs, Marle

I recently found a wonderful little book called "A life of my own"
(meditations on hope and acceptance)
by Karen Casey

It's a Hazelden book, and it's for people who have relationships with chemically dependent people.
I am loving it.

I also loved "a million little pieces" and theres a sequel "my friend leonard" (who cares what Oprah thinks, she's not in recovery)
theres one I have upstairs I haven't started yet called, "Comeback", its the story of a mother and daughter who find there way back to each other after the daughters life of addiction.
I mostly like to read things that have nothing to do with my life, I guess I want to escape from my world for awhile. lol if you like funny try Janet Evanovich books especially the stephanie plum novels histerical

I love Margaret Atwood. Pretty heady stuff - not directly related to addiction. But she's a brilliant Canadian novelist from the 20th century who wrote some pretty incredible stuff related to women and coming into self-knowledge. The Handmaids Tail. The Edible Woman. Cats Eye. Alias Grace.

And the Poisonwood Bible is AWESOME! I can't remember who wrote it.

Again, not addiction related. But personal growth related.

An E-Book called "The Addicts' Recovery Handbook". It's all about addicts, recovery, and help for families.
