OK this is day 5, yesterday evening I was getting "normality" back. You know when you think there is nothing wrong with you, you dont have a problem you are normal and you can drink again.................. I just worked untill the feeling went down a little worked untill 01.00 and at that time all bars will have closed in my town so no place to buy any alcohol....

I know form experience this feeling will get worse my mind will play tricks and tell me I am normal I can go 5 days without Alcohol, I am not an Alcoholic.

Just typing on this forum helps me stay connected with my problem... My biggest quest is accepting that there is no normality in my case and that I am an Alcoholic.

A good thing was when I woke up this morning because my son was crying at 05.30 and I had to get him out of bed I didnt have a hangover but I totally expected one I was really surprised.......

Good job Vinnie, many times I found myself saying the same things you speak of, "I can't be an alcoholic, an alcoholic can't go 5 days without a drink!" I did that bit so many times I reached the point where I had to drink, there was no longer a choice of not drinking every day.
