Hello, and thank you

Hello Everyone,

I've been a "guest" for quite some time.

I need to say thank you to everyone here. My husband has recently begun the road to recovery, and it has been so unbelievably helpful for me to read these posts. It has really helped my try to begin to understand everything he is going through.

There have been several times when we talk, and he is trying to identify motives, feelings, cravings, etc., and I remember something I've read here. He'll say "How did you know? That's exactly it!"

So, thanks again, and I'll be seeing you!

Hello and Welcome

I want to second that motion. I agree with you about the information here.

If you want understanding from an alcoholic ask here.

If you want understanding of drug abuser ask here.

If you want to know what familys are going through ask here.

And mainly if a person needs help ask here.

Welcome Discovery!

I'm so glad you "discovered" this forum. It sounds as if you and your husband share positive motivations. There's nothing easy about being the addict or the spouse. It is far better however, of the two are in sync and share the same goal.

You might suggest to your husband that he "drop by" as well.

Peace
