This situation is starting to make sense to me on why she had to be on her own. I realize that when she is going through this process that she is finding out all the feelings she was hiding from (including the sexual abuse issues with her first boyfriend.) I also understand that she could not give to a relationship now as she finds the real her!! It was hard at first for me to have her push me away thinking it had something to do with me. But she was not pushing me away she was doing this to help herself. Now I understand that I can not take this personal. She obviously has feelings as she came back once but decided she was still not ready. I know that I can not sit around for her and wait she will come find me when she is ready. All I can do is respect her space!
