So here I am on a business trip to memphis, TN...a block from Beale Street...my first time here..."Big Ass Beers" sold for $3 all over the place...the 14 other people I am with are ordering them up like there's no tomorrow. I know that if I let up my guard and have 1 or a dozen, I will lose all self respect. I have an unsweetened ice tea...hen we go to a bbq rib place. Pitchers and pitchers of Michelob for next to nothing ($8). It's killing me...I am thinking maybe I should wait until next week to start over. No way...I will lose all self respect...this is day freakin' 8 and I will not turn back. The ribs were awesome...and so was the ice water.
We are here until Thursday...tomorrow night is BB Kings...maybe some BBQ Chicken?

Have you considered finding a Memphis AA meeting?

Try some hush Puppies with the Bar B Que
Many rib joints serve them.
I always have them at the airport.

Hang in there brother, just take it a minute at a time if need be, as Carol suggested see if you can break away to an AA meeting, the locals can put you on to some of the best BBQ & ribs going and being with them will remove the temptation.
