Hopefully I'll feel better.
Hi, I'm new here. 
I found this forum because I basically just typed in "sober forum" in a search engine.
I've been batteling an addiction to various narcotics for a while, I haven't been sober very long in fact you can hardly even call it sober.
I suppose my soul purpose in joining is to talk to others who are in the same situation as I am and to overcome my addictions.
I've hurt many people in the process of "recovery" and "relapsing", specifically my boyfriend who is another main reason why I am joining this fourum.

how long have you been clean?
Are you still detoxing? (physicaklly Yuk still)
Have you seen a Doc?
Its a good idea to read the stickies here and in the Substance Abuse forum.

Welcome to SR Narcissistgirl! You'll find lots of support here, people who have been through journeys very similar to yours and are willing to share their recovery and encourage you.

Whether it's a typo or not (which I doubt, considering your spelling-bee contest username ) I think you nailed it. I firmly believe that each of us have a soul with an agenda - our wellbeing and recovery. Hopefully your soul might be leading you in that direction.

Which isn't long at all, ha ha ha.
But I've been doing well, yes I'm still detoxing, ew
And no I haven't seen a doctor, mostly because I've always refused to see one no matter what the cirumstances are.
And thanks mattcake79, I didn't think anyone would catch that!

Welcome and I'm glad you found us.
I don't think anyone just finds us by accident, so I am sure it was meant to be.
And, yes, we do hurt those we love the most, with our actions due to our addictions. But, you can change your life and move forward and we do understand how difficult it is.
