An Alcoholics Wife?????
"An Alcoholics Wife."
Since giving my husband’s problem to God I have found a piece and happiness. I know that when I try to take care of the problems of my husband I am a stumbling block as my husband has to take his own problems to God the same as I do.
Over the years I have had some difficulties and although I do not regret the past I wish I would have read this years ago. This paragraph was taken from the Big Books first edition. Just thought I would pass this on I do have the scanned chapter its just two pages if anyone is interested in the whole story.

I have found great peace since truly handing over my AH to God's hands. Its been very liberating to not take responsibilty for another adult. He may not be making the choices I would make, but that is between him and God.

Sorry you wont find that story in the link you provided but thank you for the idea I didnt think I could link the story. There are four editions to the Big Book....
