Withdrawl sucks!!

So I think I went through the worst of withdrawl last night (it is day four for me today.) I was really nauseaus but the worst part was this overwhelming feeling at the small of my back, not really a pain but more like a restlessness, I couldn't sit still for more than a few seconds at a time and spent a few hours just walking in circles. It was really scary and I know I should have called the doctor, which I was going to do if it got any worse but I'm better today, just exhausted. Has anyone else had this feeling in their back during withdrawl? The only thing that helped was to keep moving and hot water in the shower, which I stayed in until I looked like one of those sharpei dogs.

Well, I remember walking around a lot and not being able to settle down. For sure, that seemed to go on for quite awhile.

I hope you feel better today.

Hopefully you've gone through the worst of it, felly. Don't drink, just for today, and you won't have to go through this again.

Felly, I hope you won't have to experience that feeling ever again, it sounds awful. Keep up the good work.:ghug3

:ghug3 I'll second that comment! But fel, think of the bright side: in a twisted way this is a good thing, from now on, every time you have a craving, just remember sharpei dogs. Or prunes

Keep it up my friend!! I remember the pacing around. I used that (sometimes) for getting chores done. The hot shower works ok at night for the most part. Keep it up!

Yeah yeah! the shower/bath really helps a lot! It's such a freakin mind/body game! Makes you sick and crazy at the same time - I hate it! But once you're past that stage, it's all down hill.
