there is hope

hi all, havent been posting much lately,

so i thought id let you all know how ive been getting on

im nearly five months sober, going to meetings and filling my days with useful things such as spending quality time with the kids, studying....im doing coursework at the moment for my maths exam in a couple of months,
just done up my wee girls room..........its all girly (well shes the only one of the five kids i got to use pinks on so i went a little ott) lol

you know its just the simplest things that make every day sober so fulfilling.......nothing dramatic...little bits of real true life, each one adds up so that when im tucked up in bed, i can reflect on the day and smile.

its not all easy going mind you, infact sometimes its desperately hard to overcome the drinking obsession......but so far so good :codiepolice

to all newcomers out there, im by no means cured, but dear lord, how my life has changed for the better.

love to you all, for your support and words of wisdom.:ghug

I love the thread title. Hope was the first thing I got as I shuffled into a midday meeting called the gallery in Melbourne. Hope then faith and now trust.

Thanks caitlin.

There is always hope
