I put a sign on my wall. This is what the sign says, just in case I forget: "I didn't do it my way. And I didn't do it alone."

Prayer: Teach me to be as tolerant and forgiving with others as you are with me.

This is where I am at today...trying to learn to be forgiving and tolerant with myself and others. Also, I am learning to focus on those people who I admire and are helpful to me...and focus on how I am helping myself...and none of what I am doing today would be possible without the power given to me my a Higher power of my understanding. I am learning to lean on Him more fully...and like Melody Beattie suggests in this book with her in-depth teachings....I am learning how to maintain Conscious Contact with my Higher Power.
