Thumbs up What about an SR recovery album?

Just an idea, for all the muso's on here - what if we were all to perform and record one song each, either a song we've written about recovery or cover a song that has helped us in recovery and then we could bung them all together into a kind of make-shift SR album?

It doesn't have to be a professional recording or anything (mine won't be , will just be either piano or on a battered old acoustic) but even a recording on an mp3 player with a mic will do - as long as it's clear...

What do you think?

I'm a musical moron, but I'd definitely listen, download, buy, whatever! That'd be great! I know for sure that Karim dude is awesome and amazingly talented!

It would most definitely not be something anybody has to pay for, just a collection of stuff from everybody who wants to contribute - then they could download it and just listen...

Think it would be great as we are all different age groups, from different parts of the world with loads of different experiences and influences - with one thing in common, fighting our addiction...

My connection is real slow just now RZ, I'll need to let it buffer for a bit, but I'll go back to it - really want to hear that...

Hey man this is a sweet tune. Kinda of an intense 70s funk groove. I really like it. I play jazz fusion guitar, and love this type of music. I would be willing to record something and pass it along.

LOL Too funny! I heard this song a bazillion times when I was a kid, my parents used to listen to it all the time.
I haven't heard it in so long!
Thanks for the smile.
