Introducing myself
Just signed up here yesterday and wanted to introduce myself. I am not new to recovery, but am delighted to find yet another recovery-related forum.
I am a recovering alcoholic/addict, and a survivor of domestic abuse.
I regularly attend 12 step meetings and have found recovery forums on the internet a nice supplement to my ongoing recovery.
I am a single mother of two, and grandmother of two. I have been clean/sober since August 5, 1990.
I will be attending college in the fall and finally completing an associate of applied science in Medical Information Technology.
I am so very grateful for my recovery today because I am now able to do things like complete my schooling, albeit a few years later than I had hoped for! LOL!
I look forward very much to participating in several of the forums here.
