It's in Northport, NY which is on Long Island. The website says its 12 step based and has been in business since 1942.

No experience, here... but as you know, the treatment center is just a kick-start down the right road. If this is her time, if she is as ready as she says, then it WILL be a good place for her.

Know you and she are in my prayers.

Your daughter will get as much out of the recovery as she puts into it. The hardest part of addiction is not stopping. Or detoxing. Or any of that. The hardest part is staying stopped. I'm sure she will get the tools that she needs during her stay. And, god willing she will use them when she gets out.

You can't make her stay stopped. So please, this is a GREAT time for you to focus on your life and creating a healthy world for yourself. I hope you enjoy every moment of clean time you get with her.

Keep us posted on how things are going ok!

I have no idea, but their web-site sounds really nice. $6K is about as low as most rehabs go. It looks good for that price.
