Hooray!
I have made 30 days sober. God, this feels so good to say. I am so excited and proud. I still have aches, pains, issues, and problems but each day I am better able to cope. Just two or three days ago I felt i was having difficulty and I was but today I am so surprised that I made 30 days that i want to shout it on the mountain tops. I think I am going through what is called "paws" but that is just another sign that I am healing. I have read up on how to get through these moments and I try to stay prepared because they can be a little overwhelming at times. I just want others to know that sobriety is difficult but worth every moment. Thanks for all the encouragement, advice, and information that I received from you all--God bless you!!!!

Keep on doing what you are you doing. I worked the steps in 35 days because I was so afraid of using again. I am now doing amends and I have to tell you my life for the most part is great. I have more good days than bad now and that in itself is a miracle. You can have that too if you work the steps. You are off to a great start.
