For a long time I've been reading these boards with occasional posts but for some reason I've never had the courage to tell him about it. Well last week he started going back to AA meetings again so I took it as an opportunity yesterday to say something along the lines of "I'm so glad you are doing that for yourself. I've started reading some Al-Anon material and message boards and I'm learning a lot too." He gave a little bit of "Oh those people are terrible" speech (which I knew was coming) but he actually was ok with it and saw it for what it was (ie a way for me to learn stuff and also maybe help me through things a bit better too) and so that was great. I don't know why it took me so long to admit it to him, but I'm so glad I did. I guess it shows him that I am serious about making the changes we need to, for BOTH of us.

I told mine too and he's actually set up a user ID and posted. How long he'll keep it up who knows but hopefully he will get some benefit out of it too.
