I just shake my head at that, only because I remember the times my husband did that.

It's so frustrating and seems so pointless at times.

I think it's wonderful you are leaving. Good for you.

When it came to plans for the evening, I discovered it was always better if I had no expectations. No expectations = no disappointments = less frustration and anger on my part.

omg I love the taking pictures idea!! It's too easy to forgive and especially "forget" part ... or more specifically I gloss over it and think "maybe it wasn't that bad after all" but pictures don't lie right?? I love it!!!!

KBear I just had to take them.

Funny he woke up from the table and staggered off to bed. Then woke up around 9ish, came into the living room attempting conversation and was hungry. He asked if there was anything to eat - I said check the fridge dont know.

He grumbled well that is great after I worked so hard to make you a nice dinner. I just laughed.. almost wanted to share the pics with him but he was still gunned and it would have just started a fight.

He just kept muttering under his breath(I hate that), the all not so nice things he says while in this state- when I would not engage off to bed with him.

I agree h2h I have to learn to not to expect then I won't get frustrated.
THANKS for the reminder

I agree once I stopped expecting (him to be sober).....my life became more stable. I was no longer on the rollercoaster.
