They did relpy and I am happy to say they are going to look into this............
Thanks everyone the following is their reply-------
Thank you for taking the time to contact Chevron regarding your concern that certain items for sale in the Chevron station located at 2550 West Highway 434 Longwood, FL could possibly be used as drug paraphernalia.
Chevron agrees that the sale of inappropriate material in our convenience stores is unsuitable and does not conform to the image Chevron wants to project to customers. We make every attempt to ensure that such items do not make it to our convenience store shelves, and we are concerned about your description of the situation.
We are very concerned about your comments. Our records indicate that this station is owned by our Chevron retailer, Food Max Inc. We have contacted their marketer, and our local Chevron Business Consultant to investigate your comments.
Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate your comments and want you to know that we share your concern.
Sincerely,

Hey Lies,
Wow- I read this post before getting to your original one. Good going!! I have a question- I need to get some of this anger out constructively.
Would it be okay with you if I copied your original letter adding a note that stated that I supported your efforts on this and signed my name, address and state?
Okay I have to laugh- and we were/are called enablers- well I sure as heck didn't make a profit!!

Your voice was heard, clearly and with concern. How great is that?!!?
This is a good lesson for all of us. It's so easy to just huff and walk away, but taking the time, like Lies did, to write a letter to someone who just might care speaks volumes to the corporate decision-makers and action will be taken to help, in some small way, even if it just means the attendant is safer without attracting addicts.
Thank you for being my voice and the voice of everyone here, Lies. They're listening. Makes me feel good.
Hugs

I forwarded your original message to all my AH's family members and asked them to boycott Chevron. I'm sure they will as they have been hurt as much as I have if not more by my husband's addiction. I actually thought about copying your letter and sending it in too with my own comments in support and to let them know it's not just you who feels this way. I think I will now.
I'm sure that quite a few of us live in areas where the convenience stores, gas stations, etc. sell this stuff up front.
Lies, would you be willing for your letter to be a sort of template that people could save on their computers, just to show them how to word such a letter? I have saved it on mine, and it's easy enough to go online and get the corporate addresses/emails for Chevron, BP, Sinclair, etc.
Might serve to get some more helpful letters written, if people had a head-start writing them, like this.....just a thought......

Sure Givelove that would be fine, there is a typo or two in there and I'm sure we have some much better writers here on SR who could do a great form letter.....................mine was mostly anger and frustration..............but yes sure anyone who wants to use it can feel free to use it anytime..................
Thanks
Thanks
