I Made It to Day 30!
Hi Everyone.
My friend Mark told me to do something nice for myself on day 30. Well, it's day 30, and about the nicest thing I can think of is to share that news with all of my friends at Sober Recovery, and to thank them for all of their support and help.
30 days ago, I would've thought this impossible. I did think it impossible. Now, it seems ACTUAL.
There is no way I could've done this without our lovely message board. Thank you to everyone! Keep coming back. I will!

Well done on your first thirty! keep on a truckin along! good sense of accomplishment, when I started I thought that it was impossible, after all we are creatures of habit....

I remember when I started out in recovery....I could believe the folks with years and years.....BUT 30? How'd they do dat?....lol Guess the connection between adding up the 30-days is how one reaches years and years evaded my logical brain at the time......lolol

I forgot to mention this in my last post.....our 30-day/one-month chip here is blood red and we say it is for 30 days and a thousand (1,000) nights.....SOOOOO.............:
