I am on day 5 off Oxy's and I have this uncontrollable desire to use. I am pretty light headed at times. I actually feel better now that I have gotten this out.

Hi Tommy... Yep, just stating it can help a lot. I'm not familiar with Oxys, but I'm on day 26 of not-drinking. What I can tell you is that the first 5 days were the hardest. You've worked really hard. Just get through this day Tommy. Make a list of to-dos for the day, then get out and do them.

And be good to yourself. You should be proud of yourself. You've come a long way already.

Thank both of you very much!! I already feel better. Plus, I do have lots to do today. See it is tough for me because I have had this week off from work. I start a new job/career on monday. On top of that, my warranty just went on my car and now it over-heats. I will fix that, but first lunch with my mom and sister. There, that will keep me busy. Thanks again!!
