Day 18....strange coincidence???
Hey All- so check this out...I'm driving to a local flea market with my wife this AM...looking for a kids dresser. I'm thinking about AA, wondering who to ask to maybe be my sponsor...I've burned through so many over the years...I finally remember this guy from a mtg somewhat far away that I remember relating to and respecting.....I go in the flea market...as I'm looking at some stuff I feel a tap on my shoulder...its the guy! We're 20 miles north of the mtg I know him from..I know he lives down south county ( if you're from here you'd know what that means) and here he is..up north county...at a small market at exactly the same time as me. Higher Power???

That's great Rob, I love it - I think there's a lot of that kind of thing happening every day, but we/most people don't know how to listen or be aware of it.
I'm glad everything is starting to happen for you - it's things like that which have got me to believing in a HP, something I have never been able to do until now. There are just too many things happening for a reason around me right now.

Me too some things are simply a coincidence and others yeah God shots.
Reach out and ask someone Katz, talk to someone in AA about it, now rather than later, save yourself the pain.

A lot of what my conception of a HP is revolves around the people who he puts in my life at certain times. My sponsor calls it accepting the miracle when things like this happen. Many strange things have happened to me now that I'm sober, including hearing from people who I haven't talked to in a long time.

That's excellent, Rob. I don't believe in coincidences anymore so yes, it was your higher power giving you strength. Now that I am more aware of my higher power, I find that it is always there especially when I need it the most - a person, an overwhelming memory, a powerful reading. Now, I am starting to believe that it was there all along (keeping me alive) - I just wasn't paying attention!
