Im a newbie
Hello All!
I have been sober since Jan. 7th from alcohol/drugs. Unfortunately, the more I read the more I realize that I have addictions to relationships as well.
Any tips for a 37 F newbie who needs to get it together with this subject? I read some info about CONFUSING LOVE WITH OBSESSION/Obsessive Relational Progression and it describes me to a tee. I have been trying very hard to not obsess over a guy who I have already scared off (big suprise) but I am having difficulty with it. Are there any readings that might help?
Also, I am looking for info on making a personal inventory. are there some good sites out there!?
Thanks Everyone!
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Hi and Welcome,
I am a recovering alcoholic and I realized, after I stopped drinking, that I had unhealthy relationships in my life and far too much dependence on other people.
I found this thread which has some really good information on it about obsessive love:

Sorry, I don't know of other good sites - SR is my lifeline.

Hi and welcome to our recovery community
I would suggest you do your best very to keep it simple, and to keep the focus on staying clean and sober a day at a time. It took me a long time to look honestly at my role in relationships (and other areas) - and that's okay.
I hope you keep posting.
