Thank-You to Everyone...

A quick post to thank everyone who responded to my threads and blogs. Everyone who left me comments and sent me private messages. After my slip-up, I was afraid to come back on and be honest about it. I feared judgement and criticism. I recieved non of that. I received nothing but concern and encouragement. As a result, I am feeling very motivated again and considering help that I snubbed at a week ago. So once again, thank-you to everyone for helping me to be able to make a new start.

I know exactly how you feel

Hey tay-lyn: I know how you feel. I have a stack of one day AA chips 8 inches high....I've stopped and started for so long...the first time I consciously remember trying to stop was 1983 ( made it 40 days)....I always drink again...always. And each time the consequences and wreckage gets a little more severe...a little more serious. I've lost so much behind this s***. So much....yet I continue to come back to it.....crazy. The point is you get back up and try again....what other choice do you have? We're out of options...stop or suffer ever escalating devastation...of everything we love and care about.....repeated humiliations until we end up dead...or killing someone else...or literally insane with a soaked brain. I have 8 1/2 days as of 45 minutes ago.....lets help each other do this...I think you can.
