back to day one....

And that is today. I managed to stay sober for almost three days, yesterday evening I smoked a joint . I don't really understand why, but then again, i'm an addict and there is not much to understand about that. It just is. Back to square one, altough I learned a lot of being sober these last few days.

Welcome back.....remember we are never a failure until we fail to get back up and try again. Keep getting back up and one day you will find you have found the strength to keep on your feet. Miracles happen.......I can look around this forum and see many of them.......my being alive and sober is a miracle and I am not much different than so many others here.

Keep at it. I know it's frustrating to keep trying and failing. But everytime you try, you're one step closer to succeeding. I've been trying to quit drinking for a year. It finally took hold this month, and I'm on day 13. I wouldn't have made it this far w/o the efforts I put in beforehand.

And keep coming back to the forum. Check out the "under 2 weeks" forum especially.
