Exclamation No Magic Wand

I wanted the easy soft way out and I tried everything I thought fitted that, topping myself, therapy, control it, do it alone and much more.

What worked, my Magic formula in order:

1. Desire to stop using
2. Stopped
3. did not pick up again
4. Faced/facing all the issues underlying my drug addiction
5. Contine to do this

That's it folks. I do it with NA as I love being with other addicts in recovery and I love the program, there are many other ways of doing it but I think the 1 - 5 above is a must in that order.

Here is some magic or Miracles

1. I am a drug addict and I don't use drugs.
2. I am a drug addict who does not lie steal and cheat
3. I am a drug addict in recovery with millions of other drug addicts

That's Magic.

Yup! After 32 years of drinking...stopping...drinking...stopping...I, too, finally found the "easier, softer way"...Alcoholics Anonymous! Smartest thing I ever did for myself and family.
