checking in....12 more hours

Hey All- This morning at 9 will be 12 more hours of not drinking. Still feeling really TIRED and the broken limb doesn't help.....waves of intense sadness and remorse....depression, I guess. A lot of paranoid thinking and "catastrophizing" situations....still a few physical things as well. Went to another mtg last night...it was good. Cried in my truck all the way home....lonely and scared....there's so much needs tending to but not right now wreckage wise...thanks for listening

Hey Bud, glad you made it to a meeting.
At the moment you're probably watching the clock, waiting until there is some real distance between you and your last drink, its slow and monotonous but it does come... and when it does you'll thank yourself for enduring the waiting / drying time
Best of luck
Paul - Mr H

Sometimes we have to pick-up the pieces an move forward. We are here for you. You are not alone in this nor is you situation unique in the scope on alcoholism. Bad things happen when we drink, but if that's what it takes to wake us up then it can be a blessing in diguise. Sorry your having a tough time with remorse and sadness. The positive is that you are alive.

Hang in there Robzoloft, you're doing great - another 12 hours without booze is great, keep going...

What you're doing isn't easy, it takes a lot of courage and you seem to have that in spades...

Proud of you man.

Hey Good Morning!!!!!! I like how you're taking 12 hours by 12 hours. Last night I had to take it hour by hour. But we both made it through. Just keep going, Rob.

Hey Rob,
Good job on the 12 hours. I admire how you have not given up on coming here and sharing...i know the relapses are hard to get over...trust me i just had one or two or whatever...but what i feel matters is that you are really trying. I think we all learn from each other in these moments. keep it up!
