Unhappy Damn....

I MISS MY MOM!!

I am home now. Just got home. And it SUCKS...

I am so dumb, I thought I was leaving TOMORROW. I mean I knew I was leaving on the 3rd, but I dunno. Typical me...

lol, I was WONDERING why she was kind of getting irritated with me when I was laying around on the couch trying to watch my Soap Opera, but I couldn't figure out why, and then she's like you should probably uh 'go pack' and figure out what time your leaving.

I'm thinking, it's like sometimes tomorrow, at 7 pm or something...
I just want to lay here right now on the sheepskin blanket and watch
and see if Marci gets away from Todd.
(I dont feel very good, and I accidentally took my night time cough medicine this morning), plus she gets nervous and grumpy on the day I leave.

So I finally get up to go check what time my flight leaves, and I'm like Oh
Hey Mom it leaves at 5:00 I get IN at 6:30,

lol, She's looking at me like I have three heads about now.
It's like POURING RAIN outside, and she's like UH DONE, you have to PACK NOW!
And I'm like your not gonna do my laundry, lol?
She's like WE GOTTA GO!
I'm like?
NO!...?? NO TILL TOMORROW!

She says, NOO, today, NOW!

I'm like Oh? I leave today?

her: YES!!

ME:

(OH? OHH!!))

Well, we better hurry on up and pack mom! LMAO....

She was ready to kill me......

and my poor little dog is yipping and yapping at me, going nuts...
it was a bit hectic..

anyway, I'm home..

and I didn't even get to say bye to my step dad....

and I miss my Mom..

I have such a hard time adjusting to when I first leave them....

I used to get a fresh bag of meth so I didn't have to deal with it..

But on the GOOD side of things, my CAt was happy to see me and my
dog.

But I'm sad, I miss my Mom.... so much....

Moms are good people. That is good that you are back to your kitty and puppy. Animals are good things.

Done, I'm 105 years old and I still miss my mom. There is just something about moms that can't be replaced and they love us no matter what.

I think it's great you miss her and I'll bet that she's missing you too. That's why visits are so nice.

Meanwhile, just look at all the moms you have here. There are more than enough of us to keep you in hugs....just know that this mom doesn't do any kid's laundry.

Big Mom-Size Hugs

Hugs to you Miss Done. The good thing about missing your mom is that it shows you are "normal" I was totally grown up with a child of my own and still liked that safe, snuggly feeling that I always got when I was with my mom. My daughter told me that when she sees me, she then misses me too much and wants to see me all the time. So she just does not see me and that is how she handles the separation anxiety. That and a few drugs. Good for you that you are able to handle it and still stay clean. Remember she is just a phone call away. Hugs, Marle

awwwww Done, I'm sorry you're missing your mom.

My mom died 16 years ago and I really miss her. I'm fortunate that her best friend, Kay, is like my "other mother" and lives about 5 miles from me. I don't actually see her much, but talk to her and e-mail her all the time.

And like everyone here said, you and I have LOTS of surrogate mom's here (even though I'm the same age as most of them )

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Call me crazy....I think it's great that you miss your mom. That means you won't be putting off any visits to your mom. I'm sure you're going to look into planning your next visit to her soon.
Moms have a great way of letting you revert back to childhood just when you need it and even when you don't.

I wonder how may moms you have made teary - eyed here at SR when we read your post? Your mom is a luckywoman, Done, to have such a loving daughter. I think she would be very proud of all the good you do for us other moms here. Even though my addict is my husband, you have helped me so much with your posts. Sooooo, sorry, your mom can't have you back!!! We get to keep you instead!! ((((((HUGS)))))

Speaking of Mom's and Laundry....

You know how you Mothers tend to know your kids so well?

Well before I was leaving to go see her, I was packing and she
calls me and says,

Now Done, don't forget you have to take your shoes off when you
go through the plane now....

I'm like Uh Yea? I know Mom.... So???
(I'm totally running late, and wondering why she's calling to tell me this)

She's like, well I just want to make sure you have like easy to get off shoes
and "Matching Socks" on..

I'm like MOM!!!

She's like okay, okay.

lol, so I hang up the phone, and I look down, and I'm like
OH HELL.....

How the hell does she know these things.....

I had one black little sock on and the other sock was a medium pink one.

They were the only two clean ones I could find..... 8

See she "REALLY" does like to do my laundry.... So I was saving it for her and I had it all packed..... I had no clean left.

I don't think she liked to until I moved out, now when I visit her, Her very first words the next day are, You have any laundry I can do?
It's very cute. She misses doing it from when I was a little girl.
Either that or it scares her to see how I just throw every thing in and as
much as I can in one wash....

So the next day, she says, So Uh Done??

Nice Socks You got there? Is that what you wore on the plane?

I said But they were CLEAN MA!

And my feet are little and Pink is a cute color, Pink and Black Match right?

Helps you tell the right from the left.

I had socks on that didn't match and a guy at work pointed it out.
I just asked him if he liked them because I have another pair just like it at home.
