I need you all
I am so glad that I have a place to go... here at SR- especially when I just want to isolate and totally be alone,(but I know I cannot be left alone too long with my thinking and my head cause it is out to get me most of the time) I was feeling so bad tonight, yesterday, the day before.... It has been hitting me usually late at night- not a craving but just thoughts of taking a drink, but I know I cannot and this too shall pass, BUT WHEN???
Then I come here and get to get out of my own head by reading what you all post and I get some sense of relief, or I don't know... but I always stay here reading and thanking people for their posts until I feel better and can try to get some sleep.
I have 68 days today and I am very proud of myself. I do know that consequential thinking is probably the only thing that keeps me from that first drink most of the time (like tonight).

I depend on SR a lot too and it really helps to come here and read. I never fail to be inspired here.
I also know how hard it can be to deal with the negative thoughts that come along. It does get easier with time, though.
