Decided to tell all at Christmas tomorrow
I'm on day 25 today (yay!!!) and it's been fairly easy so far because my husband is very supportive, and he hasn't drank around me (alcohol is not a big deal for him- lucky). Anyway, tomorrow we'll be with his whole family for Christmas, who all are big drinkers. I don't want to make a formal announcement or anything, but I've decided to tell anyone who offers me a drink that I have quit. Originally I was going to say it was because I was dieting, but then I thought- why lie? I'm going to say I quit and if that makes anyone uncomfortable that's their problem.

Congrats Laura! I think you are doing the right thing. i think there comes a point where you do need to make it known, and have everyone know that sobriety is your new way of life. i can't wait to get to that point as well. You're doing it girl!!!keep up the good work!
