Nutritional Issues
Hello All- Anybody know anything about nutritional support ( supplements/ vitamins) for the recovering alcoholic / addict? I find all the info online either conflicting or an ad for something....my doctor mentioned things like GABA? and L-Glutamine? and needing Folic Acid and Thiamin especially...would a generic multi-vitamin be OK. Thanks

In early sobriety....many alcoholics follow an eating plan for
hypoglycemia with good results.
Buy the book "Under The influence" by Milam & Ketcham
for information on nutrition and vitamins.
I found it very helpful to get back in balance.
Amazon usually carries "Under"
and it's sequel
"Beyond the Influence"
Either will give you tons of useful info.
Keep in focus...You too can recover.
