gambling withdrawl symptoms

Friends,
Today while I was playing the slot machine (shame on me! ) I was kinda getting withdrawl symptoms. I was shaking a bit (I don't know if I was visually trembelling, or if it was just inside) and my vision went weird (like when your really tired or drunk) and I couldn't breath too well (like when your anxious). Is it possible?
I remember somebody saying on here just a few days ago that they used to have withdrawl symptoms whilst playing the machine.
Is it really possible? And if so on what does it depend? Brain chemistry??

I don't know anything about gamling addiction, but I do think addiction changes your brain chemistry. I wouldn't be surprised if you had withdrawl symptoms.

Yes, i was getting the shakes , as i said.
It's a combinations of the ritaul..
just the thoughts of winning moola
starts a chemicle reaction in my brain. Our body produce
natural indorphines. As a long distance runner will get
a rush or a sky diver jumping out of an air plane.

As an addict this part if my brain lacks deciplines
then an average person. Bascailly I'm an emotional
junkie. i have veriouse avenue or methode.

In NA..it's said...My Drugs of chioce.

As a Gambler....My methode of chioce

The whistles and bells bascailly stimulate the brain.
And just stairing at the machine stimulate the machine.

And that ultimate instant gradification.
Just one last time..maybe you'll hit a jackpot and
get out of finacial dept, consiquences will go away.

It's like any addictions. You can use your experince stopping
the drinking to help you.

You're catching yourself faster. You're awear of the
consiquence, but a part of you still resist it.

becuase..you're getting into the What now stage and
there's wackage stairing at you..So you try to escape
from the mess again...doing the samething and expecting
a different result..So you choose to go back to the familar.

is it any different ?
That's why you're the most important person to me
in a meeting....You're telling me...It's not any different.

Have you tried calling gamblers anonymous. Alcoholics Anonymous helped me to quit drinking. Maybe gamblers anonymous could help you quit gambling. You could probably even find a meeting to go to today if you look in the phone book and call them up. I do hope you find a solution.
