9 months today - THANKS SR friends!!
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone here who has helped me get to my 9-month birthday. I can't tell you how many of you have helped me...those who gave me ES&H, those who relapsed and reminded me that recovery is a life-long journey and I can never take being clean for granted.
For those who have just begun the recovery road....as long as you have a breath in you, you can do it. I was as close to the bottom as you can get....almost dead a few times, wished I was other times.
Today, life isn't a bed of roses. I am now dealing with consequences I always said I'd worry about "later". But, today, I'm proud of myself for dealing with the consequences in a responsible way and even though I still struggle, some days, I find I have so many things to be grateful for.
So, a big THANK YOU, to all my friends here...I couldn't have done this without you!

i AM SO PROUD ESPECIALLY WITH THE WAY THINGS HAVE BEEN GOING SIS, YOU NOW SEE WHAT POSITIVES CAN REALLY DO, YOU KNOW i AM RUN OFF MY BUTT TOO ( ESPECIALLY GETTING READY TO GO BACK TO WORK) BUT IT IS ALL POSITIVES, BTW sr SERIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT KIDNAPPING MY SIS HERE.................LOL
