How are you feeling, Gyps? Coming down with a cold, you thought?

You'll get this storm eventually - it was spawned in the States - midwest I think.

Yep... I have a cold. Feeling run down, runny nose, sneezing a little. I'll survive as long as it doesn't turn into a sinus thing.

It's sunny and mild out right now... maybe that storm will just stay out there where it belongs.

My teen has her 1st swim meet tomorrow. She's mad because I plan on dragging everyone there to watch :mock.

HI PIPPI !!!

Ah your teen is prolly secretly thrilled that you all care so much - I know I would be!

Hope your cold stays as such and doesn't turn into sinus infection - you were so sick last time.

I don't know about secretly thrilled... but she *is* publicly mortified :mock. She has never been on a sports team ever, so I think it's a pretty big deal.

The swim team is having some pasta party tonight... the freshman have to each bring a pasta dish. I was like, so what are we making? Something vegetarian or something with meat in it so it actually tastes *good*. I think I'll just send pasta con broccoli (pasta with broccoli, garlic and olive oil).

Thanks about the cold thing Ro. Sinuses are my achilles heal if you will, so I'm hoping too. Maybe I should schedule one of those Thai Herbal steam treatment things at the yoga place.

That steam treatment sounds like a fantastic idea! I wish I had a cold!
The pasta sounds good too - I love pasta in olive oil with garlic. yum yum

I am feeling all blue this morning and I'm not sure why. It's not that time of the month
I just feel sad and alone isn't that weird. Maybe I will email my sponsor. Sigh. Feeling like this scares me. I can only increase my meds SO much and they are at max now. Getting depressed scares me.

Aww Ro . I'm sorry you're blue. You can borrow my husband so you won't be alone...not sure if that'd be much help in cheering you up though. He's maddening on a good day.

I bet the steam treatment is soothing and beneficial even w/o having a cold .

be sure to get out and take in some fresh air, row. that helps me anyway..

mr k and i are stressed too, cuz daughter is doing so crappy. this time last year we were getting ready to move her into sober living after almost 90 days of inpatient treatment. and now it's almost as bad or worse than it was before all that started. we just feel dissappointed..

Thanks girls for the offers of respective boyfriend/husband I think I'll stick with my dogs and cat they don't talk - just listen! and are great cuddlers.

K - it makes sense to me that you and your husband would be disappointed. A year has come and gone and the situation hasn't gotten any better. I am sorry about that, and wish that there were something I could do. Thanks for suggesting fresh air. It's a blizzard out there, but I do get out frequently to shovel the driveway.
