Whats your goal for today........
i know for myself I am a great procrastinator. I never get to even 1/8 of the crap I need to get done. So i thought It might be fun to start a goal list for everyone to share. We can give each other the little kick we might need or get ideas to improve our own lives through each others desires.
My goal for today is to revise my resume.
whats yours?

My goal for today was to go to work - I have a hard time getting up in the morning.
So - I suited up and showed up. And - it was a good day.
This is a good thread, Beth. Thanks. I'll check in again tomorrow with another goal

I'm going to the dentist! That means not only a frightening 30 minutes in the chair, but almost 4 miles walking there and back. Its not gonna be nice, but I'm going to do it.
Then I'm going to get started on my Step One homework.

Get my heating fixed. My radiators are broken
Had a guy round this morning who said my system needs a power flush. Kind of like an enema for central heating....
Its expensive though. Need to shop around so I dont get ripped off.
Just love the way my heating always packs in when the weather turns cold.

Glad you asked!...
My goal TODAY is to not drink. Today that will be easy thanks to a really wonderful hangover (not!). Tommorow will be somewhat more difficult. The next day a real challenge. The day after that, white-knuckling it all the way. At some point I burst through the dark, murky clouds and come out on the other side sober for life (well, that's kind of the idea anyway).

I don't know if I have a goal today. My yoga didn't happen last night due to our water problems... so I'm definitely going to read. Either a recovery based book or a yoga related one.
OK there. At least I set a goal .
Hang in there, those who's goal is not using. That's an important goal. Without it the others won't matter much.

My goal is a long term one. I want my Christmas shopping done before Dec 9th. I can't stand the crowds. It gets on my nerves real bad.
Today's goal is to read my AA literature (especially step 2, that's where I'm at now), and get my parents package ready to mail out.
