I started here back in July sometime wanting to quit drinking (well, wanting to cut back really, as I was drinking too much - averaging about 4 drinks per day).

Well, four months later, I am now at about 0.85 drinks per day (21-day rolling average), with the majority of the days being a zero. I've survived business dinners and family parties where the booze has been flowing without over indulging... (I also survived finding out about the wife's infidelity and a near-divorce without going to the bottle for support or self-medication)...

I do think I'm on the way to a zero average in the long-run. Thanks to everyone for allowing me to post here and share my thoughts from time to time...
