sober..finally

Hi folks

Well where to start. I have been around for about a year but haven't posted. I have been staying sober as today I have 338 days. Have has a lot happen to me in the last 9 or 10 months. I have been to jail, lost my house, my car you know the past catching up to me but that is okay.

Look forward to hanging out with you guys. I won't always have access, but will hang out when I can.

Hi Scotty,

Good to see you here. Boy...you almost have a year of sobriety!

It is hard to lose the material things but they can be replaced as you go along in your sobriety. :praising

Ya know, without sobriety all the material things in the world are worthless!

Not worried about the stuff. My ego has taken a beating this year but oh well. I needed to go through all this stuff. I attend a lot of meetings, talk to my sponsor and work the steps. Today I have a decent measure of serenity whish is awesome.

Sometimes, sadly, we do need to go through stuff to get to a good place. I know I did and I am grateful. I'm glad you have found sobriety and serenity.
