It's Not Always What It Seems

Friends,

This was sent to me this morning and I thought it was a good thing to share. Sometimes we judge a book by it's cover and it is not always what it seems.

That was great, and I've never really listened to opera!! The message is a good reminder too.....you never know what special treasures a person may have, just by looking at them. Thank you!

Hugs and prayers!

Amy,
I have watched this repeatedly and everytime I get chills and I tear up. What a truly amazingly gifted person. I never really listen to opera either but I could feel this one in my chest.

Hugs back at you hon...........Lo

yeah, I got teary-eyed too. I think even Elvis (my cat) liked it. Normally, he jumps off the bed when I have something that makes noise on the laptop....this time he just laid there and tilted his head.

Hugs and prayers!

It made chills go down my back...even with the horrible speakers on my computer!

I have found it true many times that often the package appears different from the outside than from the inside!!!

Moose,
I think that is what I felt too.....was that he was so humble and genuine. I love that quality.

I don't even watch the show because I dislike Simon so much...but it brought tears to my eyes as well.

I just watched it and I'm smiling and crying. What a tremendous gift he has! I cheered with the crowd when they gave him a standing ovation.

WOW!

I always get teary eyed from that , and I try again and again to watch it without crying LOL ! I guess I either have an undiscovered love for opera or I just like self torture !! I get soo choked up over him . This sounds silly but I get a lump in my throat over his teeth , sounds dumb but I saw him in another interview and he says he has never had much self confidence ever , and to stand up there and belt out that opera with his mouth wide showing his teeth must be hard . I love him . He has a cd on iTunes now !!

had to listen to that one twice - oh my word.....I've not heard such raw and beautiful talent in a long long time. His humble nature and the desire to do what "he's meant to do" is inspiring.

Thank you so much for sharing this breath of first air and inspiration.

Mewoman,

Thank you for that info on him. I have never seen him before, but I would like to see more of him. I don't know maybe I am a closet opera lover. He really inspired me. I feel bad for him about his teeth also. Maybe he'll make lots of money in his opera career and be able to afford dental care.

I know everytime I watch it I get lump in my throat.

I found his CD "One Chance" and it is so awesome and inspiring. He won the contest and Simon Crowell gave him a million dollar contract. WOW~!
