Susan- it is difficult to see the path our sons/daughters are on. But it is what it is. Glad to hear that you made it into a good weekend walking in recovery with your daughter. We can't live the life we thought we'd have we can only lead the life we have and you are a wonderful example of how to do this.
She is in recovery. YEA!!! Thanks for sharing about your weekend.

Is this a faith-based recovery house? It sounds really neat.

Faith based, yes. They are for women of abuse, alcohol and drug addicition. They use the AA 12 steps and Christian beliefs/values. The owners are "recoverers" for years and this is their work. She was in one before that was a joke, plus twice as expensive. They let them sit all day and do nothing...she lasted two weeks and ran.

I think it is good, from what I have seen and learned from her counselor at the Ranch where she got treatment May-July. He has worked with them for 6 years without any problems.
