Bit the Bullet - Got An Attorney!

Hi All,
Yesterday I bit the bullet and called a friend of mine who is an attorney very well experienced in matrimonial law. I didn't want to ask her as she knows my AH on a personal level too, but I called her anyway. She called me back today and said she would draw up the separation agreement based on what AH and I agreed upon, she would advise him to have an attorney look it over, we could both sign it and move on for divorce. Now I am relieved. It's finally starting to look up. I'll talk to AH this weekend, if he sobers up. But at least I know I have a place to turn.

Good news, Queen! Nothing wrong with calling on friends when you don't know where else to turn. My lawyer also happens to be an ex-colleague/friend but I trust her and I feel like she really is watching my back.

Hey there Terri....

Good for you. Now you can start to plan out the rest of your life....it had to start somewhere and you made that all important move....I am happy for you.
