Hey everyone!!!! I know we can't ask for medical advice nor give it but my abf is interested in trying an herbal supplement rather that perscribed medication to aid in the support of his liver fuction since he has hepatitis c. Is there anyone here that can share an experience with anything their addict has tried or heard of, particularly something called Liv.52 that I happened to google up?? Thanks guys, hope all is well!!!

Audra, I know nothing of this, I'm sorry. However, if his doctor prescribed medication for him, I think he would be wise to take it.

My prayers go out for him too.

Not sure about Liv.52. But I do know of a guy that has Hep C in its later stages and he combines the medicines from the doctor with the natural supplements aloe vera juice and milk thistle. he has had remarkable results.

keep with the doctors advice. Maybe try the other herbal stuff, but make sure he lets his doctor know. Some herbal medicines interact with pharmacuticals.

thanx ann, his liver suggested doing a chemo related pill therapy, but we are concerned because he is the worker bee and the dr said may interfere with working, so trying herbal approach maybe!!!
