Hi there ItalianGirl, and pleased to meet you
gosh there's tons and tons of abbreviations, and then we make up new ones as we go along. lesseee
STBX = Soon To Be Ex-spouse
A = alcoholic / addict
AH = alcoholic/addict husband... although some people have stronger words
AW = alcoholic/addict wife
AS = alcoholic/addict son
ESH = Experience Strength and Hope
12 & 12 = 12 steps and 12 traditions of a program of recovery
BB = Big Book
MB = Melodie Beattie
GTS = Give Me the Skillet.... sometimes cuz we want to apply it to our "A", sometimes cuz we need somebody to put some sense in our heads, even if it takes a skillet.
DUI = Decision Under the Influence of emotions.
that should get the ball rolling
Mike
