Hey guys...I am leaving SR...

I have made many great friends here...Many of them i will never get to thank...

I had a special friend..I can't stay here since i have lost her without knowing why..

i love you all...i hope i was able to help you all hath of what you helped me..

i am so glad to have known such amazing and sensible people, but once again it has been proved i don't deserve none of you..

Karim, you have many friends here. You know you can count me as one. I understand your sadness but is leaving really the best thing? I'll bet if you give it a chance the situation will work itself out. You are far more helpful and cared for around here than you realise .

I dont think we ever crossed paths directly in any threads, but I have read a lot of your writing, and will miss you.

This is a great place, I cant imagine what could make you want to leave it, but please reconsider, you have more friends here than you think!

Karim, when I first stumbled on SR I read most of your posts and they've always helped me be stronger. I can tell you are a gentle soul, and it's easy to get rocked by the things life throws at us. There've been days when I've said to myself I won't come back on here, just won't push that button - so easy to stay away - and I understand you're preoccupied by whatever happened. Please do reconsider when you feel better. You still have much more to teach us and we need each other. Love, Joanie

karim, you've touched my life with your gentle soul, and shared your beautiful voice with so many of us. I hope you'll reconsider and stay, or come back to us when you feel up to it.

If I gave up over one person I wouldn't have made it this far. I lost a precious friend in sobriety last year and still don't understand why, but life goes on in spite of that. Sometimes our friends in sobriety move on, and sometimes we pass others on this journey in recovery. We can still love them even though our lives are not together at the moment.

Thank you for sharing your life here, karim. Maybe if you stick around you'll meet some new friends to fill your life with?
