Sister-in-law from School Bus Accident
I shared with ya'll in May of this yr - my Sister-in-law that drives a school bus for special needs children was hit by a guy who was driving under the influence of drugs, without a license, no insurance, his children in the vehicle, on and on and on.
Well today she had surgery on her neck - had to have steel rods placed in her neck from C3-C7 & a bunch of other things that I am not medical knowledgable enough to really explain.
She is 53 yrs old & will probably never be able to work again. She is having a lot of pain of course and disappointments because of things she is no longer able to do with her life.
She is working hard to stay positive and keep on living life.
This was the drivers 3 or 4 DUI (I can't remember right now and the way the laws are - he probably had 1 or 2 dismissed anyway) and we are still waiting for to find out what amount of jail time if any he will serve.
Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers as she recovers and as she continues to live her life in a positive, happy frame of mind.
Also, for the driver & his family - may they find their way to recovery - not only for themselves but for the safety of the rest of our area.
Wishing you Serenity & Joy,
Rita

Prayer for your SIL and you and your family...And prayers for the driver who hit her and his family...I hope the consequences of hos actions will help him to find recovery. I hate what this disease does to all it touches.
