Hi I'm new to this site.

Hello I'm new to this site. I'm not exactly sure of my clean date but it's been about 3 years. I'm a full time student studying psychology and social work. Even though I'm in these classes I still need personal advice, you can't learn everything from a book. I just wanted to say Hi! Thank u for this site!

Three years sober...

Hi BabyGirl,

I went back to college a year after I got sober. I got a BA Degree in Psychology & Education with it. This was a private college & didn't have Social Work offered. I went on a Pell Grant when I was 49 years old. I worked half time and went to classes late afternoon & evening.

I then got a job at the local Mental Health Agency. I was so pleased and proud of myself to be able to accomplish this at my age.

3 years is awesome and so is the fact that you're gonig to school. No you can't learn everything from a book... looking foward to learning more from and about you babygirl
